My photo
Cody and I were married Dec. 30, 2005. We started out living in a small studio apartment in Utah, then moved back to Idaho for school. Our little boy Wesley was born Oct. 13, 2007. Our newest addition Roslyn was born Nov. 6, 2010. Cody has started medical school at Western University in Pomona, CA and is LOVING it. Along with Cody, I have recently graduated with my BS in Exercise Physiology and am enjoying the time I get to spend with my family in sunny California.

Early Christmas Present!

After Wesley was born, I took pictures like crazy and really started getting into photo editing. Soon after that my mom gave me Photoshop for my birthday and I have loved it! The little point and shoot camera that we have used these past 2 years is breathing its last breath so we felt it was time for an upgrade:) We wanted something that I could put a lot of time into while Cody was at school so we thought we would look at D-SLRs. It seems like a lot of our friends have been buying them lately so we wanted to make sure we weren't just caught up in the "Camera Fever." So we waited and I did a ton of research on different cameras, lenses, prices, and how to use them. Finally after 3 months we got one! We asked both our parents to go in on it for our christmas presents, (thank you guys!) and found a great deal on black Friday at Costco! Waiting sure paid off (even though we didn't wait until christmas:)! So here it is...our early Christmas present...wooWOO!

I am learning to use this baby also, so we have an alternate photographer! Although Trish is great at taking pictures, she belongs in front of the lens, not behind it!
