Cody and I were married Dec. 30, 2005. We started out living in a small studio apartment in Utah, then moved back to Idaho for school. Our little boy Wesley was born Oct. 13, 2007. Our newest addition Roslyn was born Nov. 6, 2010. Cody has started medical school at Western University in Pomona, CA and is LOVING it. Along with Cody, I have recently graduated with my BS in Exercise Physiology and am enjoying the time I get to spend with my family in sunny California.

Don't Try This at Home

This morning I got ready to go swimming with my family and noticed that I should do a quick armpit shave...one of my least favorite things to do. While I was debating on how I was going to do this since I was already dressed, I saw Cody's electric razor and thought, well the face is a pretty sensitive place and so are my armpits so why not?! As I shaved I yelled to Cody about how cool my new idea was but when I was done and put my arms down, I felt the stinging. Figuring it was because my armpits were a little dry, I put moisturizing deodorant on. Bad idea. Oh how they stung. Running around with my arms in the air I noticed small little cuts that started to show up. Then, Cody told me to put on this special lotion that he uses for his face when he get razor burn. Well your armpits and your face are two different things because I was in pain and ran into the shower to wash it off. When I thought it couldn't get any worse, the soap I used to wash everything off contributed to the burning. After a couple minutes off armpit torture, the warm water finally soothed my poor pits. When I got out of the shower I gave it one last attempt and tried Wesley's diaper ointment. I am proud to say I am pain free, and will never try to shave with an electric razor again. Lesson learned.

wow, thanks for testing that out for me so I don't have to. I never would have thought it would hurt your pits so bad! Glad you had some diaper ointment handy. I'll go to that first if I ever get stinging pit syndrome. :) love you guys and miss you TONS! And where's the picture of the armpits? I would like to see that... :)
